Bath Salts for Gift Ideas
I make bath salts for friends & family. I give them as gifts or they ask me to make them. They are fun to make & easy. Here is a picture of my final product for my latest creation.
The blend is Lavender & Eucalyptus. It contains lavender essential oil, Eucalyptus essential oil, Vitamin E oil, Grapeseed oil.
This might be a fun project you can have at a little girls Birthday Party or sleepover.
If you would like a recipe to make your own creation just comment and I will send you some recipes.
Here is a little information on the benefits of bath salts.
Epsom salts have been used for many years as an antidote to relieve stress and tired aching knotted muscles. The high magnesium content of an Epsom salt bath facilitates the removal of acids through the skin.
Models like Elle Macpherson use Epsom salt baths to help look tip top for a day of shooting.
Epsom Salt was first discovered in the mineral-rich waters of Epsom, England, way back in the days of Shakespeare. The main ingredient magnesium sulfate (both magnesium and sulfate molecules have an ability to extract excess sodium, phosphorus and nitrogenous toxins from the body) is absorbed through the surface of the skin whilst bathing where it gently draws toxins from the body, this soothing action helps reduce pressure and swelling on bruised or irritated tissues easing troublesome muscle aches.
It can aid painful joints associated with arthritic and rheumatic conditions.
Often recommended by physiotherapist (many injuries heal up to a third faster when treated with Epsom salts) many athletes use them to relieve muscular pain an injuries.
Epsom salts are also beneficial during periods of prolonged stress as they have a mild sedative effect on the nervous system.
A mild diuretic it’s a great detox soak aiding in the elimination of toxins and fatigue from the body.
Add 2 cupfuls to a hot bath and soak for at least 20 minutes. Can be done up to 3 times a week.
