Fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, Bared to You, and Release Me will be hooked on Ruined, an electrifying journey of emotional and sexual discovery that pushes two damaged souls to their breaking point—and beyond.

He’s the last man Chloe Girard should love . . . but the first she ever could.

Ethan Frost is a visionary, a genius, every woman’s deepest, darkest fantasy—even mine. And, somehow, I am his.

He stole into my life like a dream. Turned my reality upside down and made my every desire come true—especially those I never knew I had. He demanded everything I had to give and gave me everything of himself in return.

But dreams don’t last forever, and ours is no exception. Because my nightmares are darker, and my wounds deeper, than I could ever reveal. And as much as Ethan wants to protect me, the secrets we share will only tear us apart.

**********************************************************
We basically start off with knowing that something terrible happened to Chloe at the age of 15.  We also can pretty much figure out most of what it was.

Her family is a little messed up and she does not rely on them for anything.  The only reason she still is in contact is her brother Miles.  For the most part she tells us a little bit about Miles her older brother but he is not a super big part of this story.  I am hoping in book #2 that there will be a little more of him.

So Chloe has an internship at Frost Industries and Ethan Frost is interested in dating her.  Chloe's past seems to get in her way with the dating part of her life and she tries to stay away from Ethan.  It's hard to do when her body responds to Ethan the moment he walks into the room.

Chloe and Ethan's relationship almost doesn't happen but Ethan opens Chloe's eyes to another perspective on a case she is assigned to.  Chloe now seeing that Ethan is still a good guy and not just out to make money but help people she is willing to give him a chance.

There are a lot of battles Chloe must fight to be with Ethan and Ethan does his best to help her through all of it.  Eventually they get on the right track and things seem to flow until Ethan leaves on a business trip and when he comes back on 5 days later everything changes.  Ethan struggles with trying to let Chloe go to save her from him.  From the hurt he MAY cause her down the road but as he tries to let her go he can't.  He just cannot hurt her now to not hurt her later.  Not after everything they went through but it maybe to late to take it back.  The words are out in the atmosphere and you can not reclaim them.  Hopefully Chloe can forgive him.

As Chloe and Ethan try to work through this struggle there is something unexpected that occurs.  And all I can tell you is WOW..... The ending is just WOW....

Cliffhanger........ Addicted is book #2 in this story and due out July 15, 2014.   Sad to wait for the next book.
