The conclusion to USA Today Terri Anne Browning’s The Lucy & Harris Novella Series.

That was how Lucy Thornton felt in the aftermath of her breakup with Harris Cutter. Her family thought the best thing for her to do was to put the length of the country between her and Harris.

Reluctantly, she went.

The second Harris sets eyes on Lucy again, he knows she hasn’t moved on any more than he has. Realizing that he screwed up, he sets out to prove that they belong together. But the road to un-shattering Lucy is longer and darker than he ever could have imagined.
So when we left off in book #2 of this Novella series Harris had been raped (for lack of a better term), drugged and nearly killed by Tessa.

The result of this horrible event had left Harris & Lucy in disarray.  Lucy begging to work it out with Harris and Harris telling her he was not good enough for her. With Lucy given no choice in moving away for a school semester she tries to reason with Harris.

After the semester is over and Lucy returns for her high school graduation Harris sees that everyone who has told him Lucy is good and has moved on has lied or just cannot see the truth. Harris knows he must get Lucy back at any cost. He loves her and does not want to live without her for another second.

Harris must convince Lucy that it is worth trying again. Lucy knows she will not survive losing Harris again and is reluctant that he loves her or will still love her after he finds out her terrible way of dealing with the stress in her life.

This is the perfect ending to Harris and Lucy's story. If you read the Rocker's series than you have known them since they were kids and followed the family. We have seen the love they had for each other at a young age and watched them struggle with the age difference, jealousy, love, and heartache.

Harris and Lucy belong together and have always belonged to each other since their story began. I am sad to see them go but am excited to start another series by Terri Anne Browning.

Please know that this book deals with some very real issues of self-mutilation known as CUTTING. It is a serious condition that affects many people around the world.  This is not to be taken lightly and if you know anyone dealing with this behavior please seek help immediately. There is help.
