Book Review: Entangled by Terri Anne Browning

(Angel's Halo MC - Book #2)
by Terri Anne Browning
Kindle Edition, 196 Pages

Goodreads | Amazon/Kindle

He was the MC’s enforcer. The man to dole out punishments within the club. Men feared him, and so the peace was kept. For the most part. But Spider isn’t at peace with himself. There is only one thing in life he wants, and she just stormed back into his life…

The moment I saw him, I belonged to Spider Masterson. Now, four years later, I still can’t help but want to belong to him. Even after all the pain he has put me through, I couldn’t keep my distance.

There have been two females in my life that have ever made me feel anything. One was my best friend. The other owned my soul. She’d tattooed her name on my heart the second she had smiled at me for the first time. But the past stands in our way. I know I need to explain that night to her, but once I have her back in my bed, I can’t think about anything but making her mine.
Book #2 is mostly about Willa & Spiders story. We learn about what happened between them in the past and get to see the progression of events that lead up-to current day.

Spider loves Willa and you as a reader can feel that through Terri Anne Browning's writing. You feel Willa's turmoil over still loving Spider even after she thought he cheated on her. We get to see a little more of Tasha's history and how much of a horrible person she really was.

We see Raven & Bash work through some issues and come to a mutual understanding. We see a hint of what is going on with Flick and how Jet would do anything for her because of his love.

Book Review: Angel's Halo by Terri Anne Browning

Angel's Halo

Creswell Springs was a small town in Trinity Count, California. Population 1,500—maybe. It’s a quiet town, with small town values. Its greatest income is the University just outside of the town limits… and the revenue the local Motorcycle Club brings in.

Being part of the MC that was Angel’s Halo was exactly like being part of a family. A scary, powerful, crazy family. It was also like its own society. There are rules, just as there are in every family, every society. But only breaking one of their rules will leave you in a broken, blood pile on the floor…
No one touches Raven Hannigan.

I was the MC’s only weakness. Or so my father use to tell me as I was growing up. Mad Max Hannigan was once Angel’s Halos’ president. He made the rules and everyone was expected to follow them or come face to fist with the enforcer…
I have spent my life in the middle of the MC. I knew the rules—the penalties for breaking those rules. So I knew what would happen to him if I let him break the golden rule… But I loved him, like I have never loved anyone or anything before. I thought my love would protect him.
Of course it hadn’t. When our secret was discovered he was beaten.
So I shouldn’t blame him for leaving me…

As the enforcer I knew the consequences. Knew exactly what was in store for me when Raven’s family found out that I had dared to break my MC’s unforgivable rule. I loved her, so it didn’t matter to me. When her oldest brother delivered my punishment I didn’t scream. Didn’t groan. I took it like the man my MC had made me, and would have done it over and over again if that was what it took to be able to call Raven Hannigan mine.
But then my past reared its ugly head and I had a choice to make. One that I have only lived to regret.
Taking on the job as Angel’s Halos’ new president was my second chance. But… would my secrets destroy everything Raven and I once had?
Raven had no way of stopping the storm that was going on in her heart. Bash is a hurricane and Raven has been trapped in the storm since she was 16. Raven told Bash how she felt and all he did was choose to spend some extra time with her. Then on her 18th Birthday all that changed and Raven was able to calm the storm. But after making Raven his Bash had to leave. All Bash had to do is tell Raven what was going on but like an idiot he just left.

Now the MC needs Bash as there leader while Jet is serving time. With Bash back in Raven's vortex the storm is hers to take once again. If Raven can get over what happened between them and the reasons that Bash left they can be together.

I of course loved this book. I started this series right after finishing The Rockers & Lucy and Harris series.

Raven has no choice but to forgive Bash you can't stop your body from loving someone. Bash never stopped loving Raven and does what he can to make Raven forgive him. Towards the end you see how The Rockers series ties into Angel's Halo series. Flick is a character in both series. You don't see that much of Flick in The Rockers but you see that here towards the end of Book #1 she runs away to be a Nanny for Emmie in The Rockers.

My only downer for this book is that it is too short. I miss the 300 pagers. Not sure what is going in the book world but a book should be over 250 pages in my eyes so give me more......

Book Review: Un-Shattering Lucy (Lucy & Harris #4) by Terri Anne Browning

Un-Shattering Lucy
(Lucy & Harris - Book #4)

Goodreads | Amazon

The conclusion to USA Today Terri Anne Browning’s The Lucy & Harris Novella Series.

That was how Lucy Thornton felt in the aftermath of her breakup with Harris Cutter. Her family thought the best thing for her to do was to put the length of the country between her and Harris.

Reluctantly, she went.

The second Harris sets eyes on Lucy again, he knows she hasn’t moved on any more than he has. Realizing that he screwed up, he sets out to prove that they belong together. But the road to un-shattering Lucy is longer and darker than he ever could have imagined.
So when we left off in book #2 of this Novella series Harris had been raped (for lack of a better term), drugged and nearly killed by Tessa.

The result of this horrible event had left Harris & Lucy in disarray.  Lucy begging to work it out with Harris and Harris telling her he was not good enough for her. With Lucy given no choice in moving away for a school semester she tries to reason with Harris.

After the semester is over and Lucy returns for her high school graduation Harris sees that everyone who has told him Lucy is good and has moved on has lied or just cannot see the truth. Harris knows he must get Lucy back at any cost. He loves her and does not want to live without her for another second.

Harris must convince Lucy that it is worth trying again. Lucy knows she will not survive losing Harris again and is reluctant that he loves her or will still love her after he finds out her terrible way of dealing with the stress in her life.

This is the perfect ending to Harris and Lucy's story. If you read the Rocker's series than you have known them since they were kids and followed the family. We have seen the love they had for each other at a young age and watched them struggle with the age difference, jealousy, love, and heartache.

Harris and Lucy belong together and have always belonged to each other since their story began. I am sad to see them go but am excited to start another series by Terri Anne Browning.

Please know that this book deals with some very real issues of self-mutilation known as CUTTING. It is a serious condition that affects many people around the world.  This is not to be taken lightly and if you know anyone dealing with this behavior please seek help immediately. There is help.
